Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in food and beverage service, preferably in banquet settings.
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
• Proficiency in F&B service techniques and banquet operations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proven teamwork skills and attention to detail.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions.
• Food handling certification preferred; alcohol service certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Set up banquet rooms, tables, chairs, linens and place settings per event specifications.
• Greet guests and ensure a positive first impression.
• Serve food and beverages in a timely, professional manner.
• Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to requests.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of banquet areas during events.
• Assist with post-event breakdown and cleanup.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service delivery.
• Handle guest inquiries and resolve issues efficiently.
• Process payments and manage cash transactions accurately.
• Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
• Participate in pre-shift briefings and training.
