Job summary

Tanqeeb in the United Arab Emirates is seeking an experienced Facilities/Maintenance Technician to perform PPM activities and diagnose, repair, and troubleshoot DX, Split, and VRF HVAC units. The role includes maintaining chilled water systems and supporting MEP services, with readiness for after-hours emergency work.

You will also manage tools, PPE, and documentation, while assisting FM teams with stock planning and procurement. A valid UAE driving license is preferred.

Qualifications

• Vocational Degree, Diploma, Trade Certificate, or Technical Qualification in HVAC, MEP, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in Facilities Management, HVAC maintenance, and repair.
• Willingness to learn, develop, and continuously enhance technical skills.
• Valid UAE Driving License preferably not mandatory

Responsibilities

• Perform daily, weekly, monthly, and annual Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) activities.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair DX, Split, VRF units, and FAHUs.
• Maintain and troubleshoot chilled water systems.
• Carry out maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting of small-scale air-cooled chillers.
• Support the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of MEP services.
• Attend to and resolve tenant maintenance complaints promptly and professionally.
• Ensure proper care and maintenance of tools, equipment, company vehicles, and PPE.
• Be available to work outside normal working hours when required for emergency maintenance activities, with overtime compensation provided.
• Complete job sheets accurately, track materials used, record time spent on tasks, and submit documentation for invoicing.
• Create and maintain site-specific asset and equipment inventories, ensuring records remain up to date.
• Support FM Coordinators, Storekeepers, and FM Administration teams in stock planning based on maintenance schedules.
• Assist FM Coordinators and Service Supervisors with procurement and operational requirements.
• Perform any additional duties as required to support departmental objectives
• Strong knowledge of AC systems, with additional experience in electrical, plumbing, and handyman works.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team with minimal supervision.
