Job summary

AL MASAOOD LLC in Abu Dhabi is seeking a skilled facilities technician to perform PPM activities across HVAC/MEP systems. You will diagnose, repair and maintain DX VRF units, FAHUs and chilled water setups while supporting procurement and stock planning.

Comfort with after-hours emergencies, a UAE driving license (preferred), and teamwork are valued to keep tenant services running smoothly and safely in a busy building environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Facilities Management, HVAC maintenance, and repair.
• Willingness to learn and develop technical skills.
• Valid UAE Driving License preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of AC systems with electrical/plumbing and handyman experience.
• Able to work with minimal supervision in a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) daily to yearly.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair DX Split VRF units and FAHU systems.
• Maintain and troubleshoot chilled water systems.
• Carry out maintenance of small-scale air-cooled chillers.
• Support MEP services maintenance and repairs.
• Attend tenant maintenance complaints promptly and professionally.
• Ensure proper care of tools, equipment, PPE and vehicles.
• Work overtime for emergencies with compensation provided.
• Complete job sheets, track materials and submit invoicing docs.
• Maintain site asset/equipment inventories and update records.
• Assist FM Coordinators with stock planning and procurement.
• Perform any additional duties to support department goals.

Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily, weekly, monthly, and annual Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) activities


• Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair DX Split VRF units and FAHUs


• Maintain and troubleshoot chilled water systems


• Carry out maintenance repairs and troubleshooting of small-scale air-cooled chillers


• Support the maintenance repair and troubleshooting of MEP services


• Attend to and resolve tenant maintenance complaints promptly and professionally


• Ensure proper care and maintenance of tools, equipment, company vehicles and personal protective equipment (PPE)


• Be available to work outside normal working hours when required for emergency maintenance activities with overtime compensation provided


• Complete job sheets accurately, track materials used, record time spent on tasks and submit necessary documentation for invoicing purposes


• Create and maintain site-specific asset and equipment inventories ensuring records remain up to date


• Support FM Coordinators, Storekeepers and FM Administration teams in stock planning based on maintenance schedules


• Assist FM Coordinators and Service Supervisors with procurement and operational requirements


• Perform any additional duties as required to support departmental objectives

Qualifications & Experience

• Vocational Degree, Diploma, Trade Certificate, or Technical Qualification in HVAC, MEP, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.


• Proven experience in Facilities Management, HVAC maintenance, and repair.


• Willingness to learn, develop, and continuously enhance technical skills.


• Valid UAE Driving License preferably not mandatory


• Strong knowledge of AC systems with additional experience in electrical plumbing and handyman works


• Ability to work effectively as part of a team with minimal supervision
