Job summary

Accor Group is seeking an energetic Barback to join the iconic Queen Elizabeth II Hotel in Dubai. This role supports daily bar operations and ensures an exceptional guest experience aboard a historic floating hotel.

The ideal candidate will assist bartenders, maintain stock levels, and ensure cleanliness. Candidates with prior experience in hospitality are preferred. Join a supportive and multicultural work environment with competitive benefits and growth potential.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a Barback or Barman, ideally in a hotel or upscale bar.
• Background in hospitality operations is preferred.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
• Enthusiastic, dependable, and able to work flexible hours including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist bartenders in setting up and closing the bar each shift.
• Maintain bar stock levels of liquor, beer, spirits, mixers, garnishes, and ice.
• Organize and restock glassware, silverware, and bar tools.
• Keep the bar area clean, sanitized, and well-presented at all times.
• Sweep, mop, and tidy storage areas, coolers, and service counters.
• Dispose of trash and remove soiled glassware promptly.
• Support with set-ups and re-set-ups during busy service periods.
• Uphold hotel service standards and contribute to a positive guest experience.
