Job summary

Shapoorji Pallonji & Company Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a Fleet Manager in the UAE to oversee delivery fleets for food distribution. The role requires hands-on SAP usage, route planning, and supervision of drivers to ensure safe, reliable service between Ajman and Sharjah.

The candidate must have at least 5 years in a Fleet Manager role within the food industry and UAE experience. This is a full-time on-site position requiring coordination with dispatch and sales teams.

Qualifications

• Mandatory SAP capability for fleet, maintenance or logistics.
• Strong route planning and driver supervision required.
• Experience in food manufacturing or FMCG preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan vehicle allocation, delivery routes and driver schedules with dispatch and sales.
• Manage preventive maintenance, repairs, inspections and fleet records in SAP.
• Monitor fuel usage, costs, utilisation and delivery performance; investigate variances.
• Supervise drivers, enforce safe driving and maintain clean vehicles for food distribution.
• Coordinate vehicle registration, insurance, service providers and incident reporting.
• Maintain delivery documentation and support traceability and customer issue resolution.

Fleet Manager

Location: Between Ajman and Sharjah, UAE

Schedule: 5 days per week | 8:00 am to 6:30 pm

Role purpose

Manage fleet operations to deliver food products safely, reliably and cost effectively.

Experience and mandatory requirements

Minimum 5 years as a Fleet Manager in the food industry, with UAE experience. SAP is mandatory.

Key responsibilities

• Plan vehicle allocation, delivery routes and driver schedules in coordination with dispatch and sales.
• Manage preventive maintenance, repairs, inspections and vehicle availability; maintain fleet records in SAP.
• Monitor fuel consumption, transport costs, utilisation and delivery performance; investigate variances.
• Supervise drivers, reinforce safe driving and ensure clean vehicles suitable for food distribution.
• Coordinate vehicle registration, insurance, service providers and incident reporting.
• Maintain delivery documentation and support traceability and customer issue resolution.

Skills and capabilities

• Hands-on SAP capability for relevant fleet, maintenance or logistics processes.
