Job summary

Rixos Premium Saadiyat Island is seeking a passionate Fitness Instructor to lead engaging classes and guide members toward their fitness goals. You will assess individual needs, tailor programs, demonstrate correct techniques, and foster a safe, motivating environment on-site.

The role requires current fitness certification and CPR/First Aid, with strong communication and organizational skills to support diverse members and maintain high safety standards.

Qualifications

• Current fitness certification from an accredited organization.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification.
• Comprehensive knowledge of exercise and training principles.
• Experience instructing group fitness classes or personal training.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to motivate diverse populations.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Proficiency in fitness assessment techniques and program design.
• Knowledge of safe exercise form, modifications and injury prevention.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
• Customer-focused demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging group fitness classes for various levels and modalities.
• Assess member fitness levels, goals and limitations to create customized programs.
• Demonstrate proper exercise techniques to ensure safety and effectiveness.
• Provide motivational coaching and feedback to support adherence.
• Monitor progress and adjust programs to achieve goals.
• Maintain a clean, safe gym environment and proper equipment function.
• Educate members on gym policies and safe equipment use.
• Build relationships with members through excellent service and personalized attention.
• Collaborate with teammates on schedules, events and member engagement.
• Maintain accurate records of progress, attendance and modifications.
• Stay updated with fitness trends and continuing education.
