Job summary

Rixos Premium Saadiyat Island is seeking a passionate Fitness Instructor to lead engaging classes and guide members toward their fitness goals. You will assess individual needs, tailor programs, demonstrate correct techniques, and foster a safe, motivating environment on-site.

The role requires current fitness certification and CPR/First Aid, with strong communication and organizational skills to support diverse members and maintain high safety standards.

Responsibilities

Were looking for an enthusiastic and certified Fitness Instructor to join our dynamic team at our premier fitness center in Abu Dhabi United Arab this role youll inspire and guide our diverse member community toward achieving their fitness goals while maintaining the highest standards of safety professionalism and customer care. As a Fitness Instructor youll be instrumental in creating an inclusive motivating environment where members feel supported and empowered throughout their fitness journey.

• Design and deliver engaging group fitness classes tailored to various fitness levels and modalities (strength training cardio flexibility functional fitness etc.)
• Assess individual member fitness levels goals and limitations to create customized workout programs and modifications
• Demonstrate proper exercise techniques and form to ensure member safety and maximize workout effectiveness
• Provide motivational coaching and constructive feedback to help members stay committed to their fitness objectives
• Monitor member progress and adjust programs accordingly to ensure continued improvement and goal achievement
• Maintain a clean organized and safe fitness environment with properly functioning equipment
• Educate members on proper equipment usage gym policies and safety protocols
• Build strong relationships with members through excellent customer service and personalized attention
• Collaborate with team members to coordinate class schedules special events and member engagement initiatives
• Maintain accurate records of member progress attendance and program modifications
• Stay current with fitness trends industry best practices and continuing education opportunities
• Respond professionally to member inquiries and concerns with empathy and transparency
• Assist with member onboarding and orientation to gym facilities and services
• Perform opening and closing procedures as assigned

Qualifications

• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
• Professional demeanor with a customer-focused mindset

Preferred Qualifications

• Multiple fitness certifications or specializations (yoga Pilates HIIT functional training etc.)
• Experience working in a fitness center or corporate wellness environment
• Knowledge of fitness management software and member tracking systems
• Experience with diverse populations and adaptive fitness modifications
• Passion for continuing education and professional development in the fitness industry
• Bilingual capabilities (English and Russian)
• Experience in program development and member retention initiatives
