Job summary

Anantara Mina Al Arab Ras Al Khaimah Resort is seeking a dedicated Fitness Instructor to deliver personal training sessions and group fitness classes for hotel guests and members.

You will organize wellness events, maintain a clean facility, and ensure safety during all activities while providing exceptional service and guidance in English. Arabic or other languages are a plus for guest interactions.

Qualifications

• Recognized fitness instructor certification.
• Knowledge of exercise techniques, strength training, cardiovascular fitness, and injury prevention.
• Ability to develop safe and effective fitness programs for individuals and groups.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and motivational skills.
• Physically fit and able to demonstrate exercises correctly.
• Good customer service skills and a professional appearance.
• Basic computer skills for maintaining client records and scheduling.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of Arabic or other languages is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Deliver personal training sessions to guests and members.
• Conduct daily fitness and sports group classes (e.g., HIIT, stretching, boot camp, boxing).
• Organize fitness and wellness events on the monthly activities schedule and special events like Full Moon nights.
• Ensure the fitness centre is clean and equipment is sanitized.
• Assist in recreation areas and support other departments as needed.
• Provide high-level customer service and feedback to management.
• Explain and enforce safety rules and ensure activities are performed safely.

Ride across rolling dunes and conquer the mountain peak of Jebel Jais.* To contribute to operating the Recreation Centre in a professional and business orientated manner, in accordance with Anantara aims and objectives, recognizing the need to achieve all targets and other performance indicators set.* Perform Personal Training sessions to guests and members.* To provide daily Fitness and Sports group classes free of charge and chargeable to the guest in House and Members such as Hit , Stretching , boot camp , Boxing classes.* To organize Fitness and Wellness events on the Monthly Activities schedule and special event such as the Full Moon.* Ensure the Fitness center always clean including all the machines and equipment.* Clean and sanitize the Machines on the absence of the Recreation Attendant.* To assist on all the recreation areas if needed.* Deliver the highest level of customer service at all times.* Deliver personalized exercise plans to our guests.* Offer guests assistance when they are not performing an exercise correctly.* Explain and enforce safety rules and regulations of the recreation center.* Ensure that all activities are performed in a safe environment using proper safety techniques.* Monitor the success of the activities programs through the number of participants per scheduled event and through guests’ feedback.
