Job summary

MENA Overseas Recruitment Private Limited is seeking an Electrician with experience in fire protection systems to install and maintain fire alarms, central battery and emergency lighting. The role requires UAE Civil Defence compliance and strong safety discipline.

The ideal candidate holds an ITI/ diploma in Electrical Engineering and has hands-on experience with fire alarm panels, control panels, and emergency lighting. On-site coordination with engineers and technicians is essential.

Qualifications

• ITI / Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• UAE Civil Defence requirement and standard installation practice.
• Proven experience as an Electrician, preferably in fire protection or firefighting systems.
• Knowledge of fire alarm systems, control panels, and emergency lighting systems.
• Familiarity with electrical safety standards and fire safety regulations.
• Ability to use electrical testing tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Install, fire alarms, fire detection, and voice evacuation systems (PAVA).
• Install central battery and emergency lighting system.
• Troubleshoot wiring addresses and rectification of loop faults.
• Fire alarm panel dressing.
• Cable trunking - GI and PVC elbow & Tee fabrication.
• Know tools and machinery ranges.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings and firefighting layouts.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and local codes.
• Coordinate with engineers and site teams during installation and maintenance.
• Follow health and safety procedures on-site.

• Trouble shooting wiring address and loop fault rectification knowledge.

• Fire alarm panel dressing.

• Cable trunking - GI and PVC fabrication of elbow and Tee, works

• Knowledge of tools and appropriate machinery and their ranges.

• Installation of all fire alarm and electrical works at quickly.

• Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and firefighting system layouts.

• Ensure all electrical work complies with safety regulations, local electrical codes, and fire safety standards.

• Coordinate with engineers, technicians, and site teams during installation and maintenance activities.

• Follow health and safety procedures while working on-site.
