Job summary

Tanqeeb in Abu Dhabi is seeking a hands-on Fire Protection Technician to carry out inspection, preventive maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, and rectification of fire protection systems at client sites. You will work across multiple brands with a UAE driving license.

The role requires 3–5 years UAE/GCC experience in fire fighting and fire alarm system maintenance, good communication with clients, and the ability to coordinate schedules and report on site observations.

Qualifications

• ITI/Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical qualification.
• Minimum 3-5 years UAE/GCC experience in fire fighting and fire alarm system maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of AMC operations, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Experience across commercial, residential, industrial, and healthcare facilities.
• Valid UAE Driving License (mandatory).
• Good communication skills and ability to interact professionally with clients.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of fire fighting systems.
• Inspect, test, troubleshoot, repair, and commission fire protection systems.
• Diagnose and rectify faults in fire alarm panels, detectors, sounders, modules, extinguishing systems, pumps, hydrants, sprinklers, hose reels, and related equipment.
• Conduct routine testing and maintenance of fire pumps, jockey pumps, sprinkler systems, hydrant networks, and clean agent suppression systems.
• Prepare service reports, inspection checklists, and maintenance records.
• Ensure compliance with UAE Civil Defence regulations, NFPA standards, and company HSE requirements.
• Coordinate with supervisors and clients regarding maintenance schedules, site observations, and rectification requirements.
• Attend emergency breakdown calls and provide prompt technical support.
