Job summary

XAD Technologies in Dubai is hiring a System Architect to lead the design of the backend and integrations for our FinTech platform. You will shape the architecture for scalable mobile app backends, APIs, and cloud infrastructure, ensuring secure, compliant fintech integrations with third-party services.

The role requires deep experience in backend architecture, microservices, and DevOps, with strong knowledge of security protocols and modern cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5-8 years of experience as System Architect/Solution Architect.
• Experience with financial services APIs, payment processors, and banking integrations.
• Knowledge of authentication and security protocols (OAuth, JWT, OpenID Connect).
• Strong knowledge on designing and building scalable and secure backend/middleware.
• Certifications in cloud architecture, security, or backend development.

Responsibilities

• Design and oversee architecture of mobile app backend systems for scalability, security, and performance.
• Develop and maintain APIs, microservices, and backend infrastructure to support mobile apps.
• Lead integration of third-party financial services, payment gateways, and banking systems.
• Ensure compliance with FinTech regulatory requirements and security standards.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and security teams to align solutions with business needs.
• Optimize backend performance and reliability via monitoring, logging, and automated testing.
• Drive DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native solutions.
• Document system architecture, integration workflows, and security protocols.
• Stay updated with FinTech trends in cloud computing and backend development.
