Job summary

Deloitte UK is seeking experienced ex-regulators to join a prestigious project based in the UAE, supporting the Central Bank of the UAE in fintech licensing initiatives. This is a 4-month contract opportunity to leverage regulatory expertise in reviewing license applications across Stored Value Facilities, Retail Payment Services, and Open Finance.

You will screen documents, conduct interviews, and communicate with applicants and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Ex-regulators with hands-on licensing review experience.
• Strong fintech regulatory knowledge and payment services.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Review and assess licensing applications focused on fintech.
• Screen applicant documents and conduct interviews.
• Communicate with applicants and internal teams clearly.
• Collaborate with AML/CFT, Consumer Protection, and IT workflows teams.
• Present findings and recommendations to regulator stakeholders.
