Job summary

STAR SERVICES LLC in Abu Dhabi invites applications for a Finishing Assistant in the steel industry. You will perform maintenance and overhauling activities in the Finishing Section throughout the plant with high proficiency, quality, and strict safety practices.

Mandatory: ITI in Mechanical Fitter Trade and 3–5 years of mechanical maintenance experience in a steel plant. Knowledge of predictive and preventive maintenance, reading engineering drawings, and hydraulic circuits is preferred;

Qualifications

• Mandatory ITI in Mechanical Fitter Trade.
• 3–5 years of steel plant mechanical maintenance.
• Knowledge of predictive and preventive maintenance, drawings, hydraulics.

Responsibilities

• Execute scheduled corrective maintenance and major repairs to optimize production and minimize plant downtime related to maintenance activities.
• Maintain high safety standards during finishing operations.
