You will analyze financial data, ensure accurate transaction recording, support GST and regulatory compliance, and contribute insights to improve AI finance features.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Finance with ability to apply financial principles.
• Experience preparing and reviewing Financial Statements and end-of-period closings.
• Proficiency in Financial Reporting, regulatory submissions, and management reports.
• Advanced analytical skills to interpret data, identify trends and support decisions.
• Knowledge of UAE GST or similar indirect tax frameworks; UAE compliance is an advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; ACCA/CPA/CMA is a plus.
• Familiarity with cloud-based accounting or AI-enabled platforms.
• Attention to detail, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced startup.
• Clear, professional communication to explain financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders.

Role Description

The Finance Executive will work on-site in Dubai in a full-time capacity, supporting BookBI’s financial operations and client-facing accounting activities. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and reviewing financial statements, assisting with financial reporting, and analyzing financial data to provide insights and recommendations. The role involves ensuring accurate recording of transactions, supporting tax-related processes, and collaborating with internal teams to improve financial workflows and reporting standards. The Finance Executive will also contribute to refining BookBI’s AI-powered finance features by providing domain knowledge and feedback on financial compliance and best practices.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Finance with the ability to interpret and apply financial principles in a business context.
• Experience preparing and reviewing Financial Statements and supporting end-of-period closing activities.
• Proficiency in Financial Reporting, including regulatory submissions and management reports.
• Advanced Analytical Skills for interpreting financial data, identifying trends, and supporting decision-making.
• Knowledge of Goods and Services Tax (GST) or similar indirect tax frameworks; familiarity with UAE tax and compliance standards is an advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CMA) are a plus.
• Comfort with technology-driven finance tools; experience with cloud-based accounting or AI-enabled platforms is beneficial.
