Job summary

HUMAN-AI-Z Nexus Technology in Dubai seeks a senior finance leader to oversee accounting, reporting, and finance operations across the business, including AP, AR, GL, and monthly management accounts.

You will drive budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and strategic financial analysis under IFRS and UAE regulations, build scalable processes, and lead a growing finance team to deliver accurate governance and insights for growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• Professional qualification such as ACCA, ACA, CPA, CA, or equivalent.
• 6–10 years of progressive finance and accounting experience, including 2–4 years in a leadership role.

Responsibilities

• Lead all accounting and finance activities across the business.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and leadership reports.
• Ensure timely month-end and year-end closes per IFRS and UAE rules.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, modelling, and performance analysis.
• Monitor revenue, profitability, expenses, cash flow, and working capital.
• Manage cash flow forecasting, liquidity, banking relationships, and payments.
• Ensure UAE VAT, Corporate Tax and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain controls, policies, and coordinate annual audits.
• Partner with leaders on budgeting and strategic growth.
• Develop scalable finance processes and pursue automation.
• Support finance systems, reporting tools, and KPI dashboards.
• Lead and develop the finance team with governance and accountability.

Key Responsibilities

Lead all accounting and finance activities across the business, including AP, AR, general ledger, and financial reporting Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports for leadership Ensure timely month-end and year-end close processes in accordance with IFRS and UAE regulations Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, and performance analysis Monitor revenue, profitability, operating expenses, cash flow, working capital, and key business drivers Manage cash flow forecasting, liquidity, banking relationships, and payment processes Ensure compliance with UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, statutory, and regulatory requirements Maintain robust financial controls, policies, and procedures and coordinate annual audits Partner with leadership and departmental teams on budgeting, cost management, strategic initiatives, partnerships, and growth opportunities Develop scalable finance processes and identify opportunities for automation and operational efficiency Support the implementation and optimization of finance systems, reporting tools, and KPI dashboards Lead and develop the finance team while ensuring strong financial governance, accuracy, and accountability

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field Professional qualification such as ACCA, ACA, CPA, CA, or equivalent6–10 years of progressive finance and accounting experience, including 2–4 years in a finance management or leadership role Experience within Insurance, Insur Tech, Fin Tech, Financial Services, or Technology sectors Strong knowledge of IFRS, UAE VAT, and UAE Corporate Tax requirements Strong financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial modelling experience Advanced Excel and financial analysis skills Strong commercial acumen with the ability to provide strategic financial insights and support business decision-making Experience in developing finance processes, controls, and reporting systems Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
