OmanYP, Abu Dhabi, is seeking an experienced Finance Director to oversee all regional financial management functions and lead strategic decisions. The role focuses on governance, reporting, budgeting and performance analysis, with oversight of treasury and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field with a recognised professional accounting qualification preferred.
• Significant financial management and leadership experience within project-based, capital-intensive or B2B industries.
• Strong background in financial controllership, treasury, cash flow management, reporting and regulatory compliance.
• Sound knowledge of IFRS, UAE taxation and regulatory requirements.
• Experience managing statutory audits and engaging with external auditors (Big4/Big10 preferred).
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to work with senior stakeholders.
• Willingness to be based in Abu Dhabi and physically present in offices.

Our client is an established organisation operating within the broader industrial and business services sector, with a strong regional presence and a diversified portfolio of activities.

Reporting into senior leadership, this position will be responsible for:

• Leading financial management activities, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis.
• Ensuring robust financial controls, effective governance and compliance with applicable accounting and regulatory requirements.
• Overseeing treasury, liquidity, banking relationships and working capital management.
• Providing commercial and financial insights to support operational performance, business planning and investment decisions.
• Managing statutory audit requirements, tax compliance and financial reporting obligations.
• Partnering with operational stakeholders to monitor financial performance, manage costs and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Leading and developing team members while promoting accountability and operational efficiency.
• Supporting finance transformation initiatives, including process optimisation and improvements to financial systems.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field, with a recognised professional accounting qualification such as CA, ACCA, CPA or CMA preferred.
• Significant financial management and leadership experience within project-based, capital-intensive or B2B industries. Track record of working within engineering, infrastructure, construction, industrial services or similarly complex operational environments.
• A strong background in financial controllership, treasury, cash flow management, reporting and regulatory compliance.
• Sound knowledge of IFRS, UAE taxation and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Proven experience managing statutory audits and engaging with external auditors (preferably Big4 or Big10)
• Strong commercial acumen and the ability to work effectively with senior business stakeholders.
• Willingness to be based in Abu Dhabi. This role requires physical presence in the offices (which is based in Abu Dhabi)
