Job summary

Manufacturing Plant - UAE - Abu Dhabi is seeking a Field Services Team Lead to oversee a team of Field Services Technicians. You will plan, schedule, and monitor field activities, ensuring timely and quality service to customers.

Travel to client sites is required, and you will maintain strong records and reporting. You will foster a safety-first culture, provide training, and coordinate with customers and management to meet timelines and budgets.

Qualifications

JOB PURPOSE

The job holder will be responsible for overseeing a team of Field Services Technicians and ensuring that all service requests are completed in a timely and efficient manner. You will be responsible for maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction by ensuring that all service requests are resolved to the customer's satisfaction.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Field Service Know-How/ Planning and Control of Site Work Activities/ Control of Tools and Equipments/ Asset Inventories: Oversee a team of Field Services Technicians and ensure that all service requests are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
• Schedule and assign work to Field Services Technicians, ensuring that the workload is distributed evenly.
• Monitor the progress of service requests and take appropriate action to ensure that they are resolved within the agreed-upon timeframe.
• Ensure that all Field Services Technicians are trained and equipped to provide excellent service to our customers.
• Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by ensuring that all service requests are resolved to the customer's satisfaction.
• Keep accurate records of service requests, including the nature of the problem, the action taken, and the resolution.
• Provide regular reports to management on the performance of the Field Services team.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the Field Services team.
• Ensure that all Field Services Technicians comply with all company policies and procedures, including safety and security policies.
• Manage and prioritize tasks for the field services team to ensure that all work is completed on time and within budget.
• Monitor the performance and documentation of all tests mentioned in the Inspection Test Plan at site.
• Filling FIR & N C R and problem solving at site including after sales inspections
• Build a strong and close working relationship with clients.
• Attend progress and coordination meetings to monitor all related project activities.
• Review method statement for site installation.
• Review theoretical training material i.e., presentation, animation, photos, and videos.
• Giving theoretical and practical training.
• Attending customer calls/emails for emergency work
• Conduct, evaluate and witness all testing activities related to the installed pipes.

HSE

Comply with relevant safety, quality and environmental control procedures and instructions

• Use personal protective equipment and safety gear when performing assigned tasks
• Keep operational areas clean and well organized to prevent incidents and accidents
• Report on unsafe acts, incidents or safety violations
• Develop a safety culture by ensuring all staff comply with HSE policies and procedures
• Participate in QHSE audits, incident reporting and review of QHSE performances as required
