Level at which a Field Operations employee continues to develop skills through formal training or work experience to represent the quality of all products of HMH’s Lifecycle Services origin. Provide technical assistance to clients and perform/oversee field installations and repairs.
Electrical Engineering discipline
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in installation, Overhauling and repair of Oil Drilling Equipment, and must have previous experience working on Iron Roughnecks and Automated Catwalks, both in Land and Offshore Environments. Factory training drilling equipment, troubleshooting, and programming.
Ability to Travel both Domestically and Internationally. Demonstrated proficiency with technical concepts. Basic understanding of how the team integrates with others. Ability to read schematic and electrical layout drawings, knowledge of mechanical and hydraulic systems, good understanding of electrical circuits and electrical schematics, Diagnose, investigate and provide solutions to moderately complex problems, troubleshooting and repair of Oil Drilling Equipment or similar electrically operated equipment. Ability to use communication skills to exchange moderately complex information, typically within own team; uses tact and diplomacy when dealing with customers. Ability to read schematic and electrical layout drawing. Ability to work for long periods and in extreme environmental conditions. Analytical skills and fault-finding ability. Competent with Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, etc.) Proficient in written and reading comprehension of English. Ability to work as an individual and as part of a team. Ability to focus on and bring to conclusion multiple tasks. Ability to work under pressure and on own initiative. Ability to pre-empt situations and react positively. Organized and methodical, high integrity and ethical values. Ability to negotiate and communicate at all levels to coordinate tasks effectively between different Groups/Departments.
