Job summary

KinFitz & Co. in the United Arab Emirates is seeking a Field Service Engineer to work onsite in Dubai or Abu Dhabi. You will diagnose faults, install and commission RO, STP and ETP systems on client sites, including ships and rigs, with occasional travel to moderate risk countries.

Arabic and English fluency is required. You will be on-site, performing hands-on diagnostics, repairs, and commissioning under schedule and budget pressure, while building strong client relationships for ongoing

Qualifications

• 6–8 years post-qualification experience in RO, STP, filtration and ETP operation/maintenance
• Offshore RO or water treatment installation & commissioning experience
• Experience working in the Mediterranean region
• Diploma or degree in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering
• PLC knowledge is essential
• Native or fluent Arabic with strong English skills
• Willingness to work on ships or rigs under schedule and budget pressures

Responsibilities

• Diagnose faults and complete repairs on RO, STP, ETP systems across client sites
• Install, troubleshoot and commission water maker systems within budget and timeframes
• Conduct site inspections and prepare reports with recommendations and parts lists
• Provide technical training to clients for smooth operation

Are you a field service engineer who thrives on solving problems onsite, not behind a desk, and speaks fluent Arabic and English

A global water and wastewater treatment technology company, known for its advanced RO, STP and ETP systems deployed across demanding industrial and offshore environments, is hiring a Field Service Engineer to be based in Dubai or Abu Dhabi. The company has a strong reputation across the Mediterranean and Middle East for reliable installation, commissioning and after sales service on complex plant systems, and this hire will be a critical, hands on presence for their UAE client base.

This is not a desk based technical support role. You will be on client sites, on ships and rigs, and occasionally travelling to moderate risk countries, diagnosing faults, completing repairs and commissioning systems under real time pressure.

• Providing technical training to clients so they can run their systems smoothly
• Travelling offshore and to moderate risk countries for installation and commissioning projects
• Liaising directly with clients to build trust and identify further business opportunities for the sales team

What we need:

• 6 to 8 years of post qualification experience in RO, STP, filtration and ETP operation, maintenance, inspection or troubleshooting
• Offshore RO or water treatment system installation and commissioning experience
• Experience working in the Mediterranean region
• Diploma or degree in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering
• PLC knowledge, essential
• Native or fluent Arabic speaker with strong English language skills
• A willingness to get hands on and deliver under schedule and budget pressure, whether that means confined spaces, ships or rigs
