Job summary

Tanqeeb in the UAE is expanding its Abu Dhabi-based air compressor sales capability, seeking a field-driven technical salesperson who will own the front end of the sales pipeline. You will map industrial zones, open new accounts through business development, and convert cold visits into qualified opportunities while managing your territory with a CRM-driven approach.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience in technical sales, business development, or field-based commercial roles in air compressors in the UAE or GCC markets.
• Strong technical understanding of air compressors and rotating equipment.
• Valid UAE driving license; Arabic-speaking preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Actively visit industrial areas, factories, workshops, and new construction sites across your assigned territory to identify potential customers and generate qualified leads.
• Drive business development and client acquisition across assigned industrial segments through direct visits, networking, referrals, and market outreach.
• Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline through consistent field activity and disciplined CRM data entry.
• Represent the client professionally in-market, strengthening visibility and commercial presence.
• Introduce air compressors, dryers, piping, and rotating equipment, and gather intelligence on current suppliers and upcoming requirements.
• Map stakeholders influencing each opportunity and prepare technical and commercial proposals (RFQ response, tender participation).
• Translate technical features into client value — reliability, lifecycle cost, energy efficiency.
• Lead contract negotiation and convert opportunities into profitable, long-term client relationships.
• Maintain structured sales forecasting and closure strategy for each active opportunity.
