Female Physical Education Teacher with Arabic fluency role in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Full‑time teaching position with a monthly salary range of 7,000–10,000 AED. The teacher will deliver high‑quality PE lessons, promote student fitness and wellbeing, organise sports events, and manage departmental resources.
Core Duties
- Plan and deliver engaging physical education lessons that support student fitness, confidence, teamwork, discipline, and healthy lifestyle habits.
- Prepare lesson plans, assessment tasks, teaching resources, and activity schedules aligned with school expectations and student learning needs.
- Conduct fair, realistic, reliable, and valid student assessments in physical education.
- Record, evaluate, and report student progress, participation, performance, and skill development.
- Establish effective teaching methods while maintaining strong standards of hygiene, safety, supervision, and student wellbeing.
- Promote active participation, sportsmanship, teamwork, resilience, and positive attitudes toward physical activity.
- Prepare written reports related to the PE department, student progress, sports activities, and associated school events.
- Support quality assurance across the full physical education experience for all pupils.
- Help establish, implement, monitor, and evaluate departmental philosophy, aims, objectives, priorities, and operational procedures.
- Manage and maintain PE resources, sports equipment, subject‑related materials, and facilities.
- Coordinate and support whole‑school sports events including House Days, Sports Days, Swimming Galas, and inter‑house competitions.
- Assist with sports‑related trips, competitions, displays, workshops, and student enrichment activities.
- Liaise with advisory teams, support services, school departments, and administration staff when required.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues in Arabic and English where needed.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, respectful, and motivating learning environment for all students.
- Support safeguarding, student welfare, and school policies during lessons, events, trips, and activities.
Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, Education, or a related field.
- Teaching qualification such as B.Ed., PGCE, or equivalent (preferred).
- Proven experience as a PE Teacher in a school environment.
- Female candidates only for this role.
- Fluency in Arabic required.
- Strong knowledge of PE curriculum planning, student assessment, and sports instruction.
- Ability to organise and support school sports events, competitions, swimming galas, house activities, and workshops.
- Strong understanding of hygiene, health, safety, and student supervision in PE settings.
- Excellent classroom management and student engagement skills.
- Good IT skills for lesson planning, reporting, assessment records, and school communication.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working with students, parents, teachers, and school leaders.
