About Tradeling Group
Join the force transforming MENA’s B2B landscape. Established in 2019 and backed by the Government of Dubai (DAFZA), Tradeling Group is building the digital future of trade. We operate a comprehensive B2B ecosystem that bridges global supply with regional demand through a tech-first approach. At our core is a world-class digital marketplace hosting over one million SKUs across key categories. Beyond the marketplace, we empower businesses through a suite of integrated additional services, including logistics and fulfillment, trade financing, and digital marketing support. Following our landmark acquisition of Axiom Distribution, we have evolved into a regional powerhouse that merges marketplace innovation with deep logistics leadership. At Tradeling, we don't just facilitate transactions; we provide the end-to-end infrastructure for businesses to trade smarter, faster, and more efficiently.
Role Purpose
Run the daily fulfillment operation for a Food & Beverage warehouse, getting every order out within the B2B cut-off, keeping inventory accurate, maintaining food safety compliance, and leading a mixed team.
Key Responsibilities
- Outbound: Plan and drive the daily outbound cycle so all orders are picked, packed, checked, and staged before the B2B cut-off.
- Manage handover to logistics — verify load accuracy, dispatch, and documentation before the vehicle leaves.
- Close out short-picks and mis-picks same day, with root cause recorded.
- Inbound: Oversee receiving, verification against PO/ASN, and put-away to the correct zone.
- Apply shelf-life acceptance criteria at receipt and reject or quarantine anything below the agreed minimum.
- Inventory & Food Safety: Maintain inventory accuracy at 99.5% through a structured cycle count programme, investigating variances to root cause within 48 hours.
- Enforce FEFO and FIFO, and maintain batch/lot traceability for recall readiness.
- Uphold HACCP and Dubai Municipality Food Code standards — cold chain integrity, temperature logs, allergen and chemical segregation, and staff hygiene compliance each shift.
- Manage near-expiry, damaged, and quarantined stock through to documented disposal or write-off.
- WMS: Operate the WMS across allocation, waves, picklists, location management, and inventory adjustment.
- Resolve first-line issues such as scanning failures, label errors, allocation blocks, and stuck orders, escalating to IT only where needed.
- Team & Manpower: Set and monitor daily shift targets for productivity and accuracy.
- Plan manpower, verify outsourced staff deployment against agreed headcount, and confirm attendance records for payroll and invoice validation.
- Route overtime for approval before it is worked.
- Raise outsourced staff conduct or performance issues through the agreed vendor escalation process, rather than directly.
- Train and sign off new joiners on picking, packing, hygiene, and safety before they work independently.
- Safety & Reporting Enforce safe working practices, PPE, and licensed-only MHE operation, and report all incidents and near-misses.
- Act as the daily operational contact for logistics and internal teams.
- Produce daily reporting on dispatch performance, accuracy, variance, productivity, and manpower using Excel and Google Sheets.
Requirements
- 5+ years in warehouse or fulfillment operations, including 2–3 years supervising an inbound/outbound team.
- Hands‑on Food & Beverage experience, expiry and batch control, FEFO and FIFO.
- Strong practical WMS command (allocation, waves, picklists, inventory modules).
- Advanced Excel (pivot tables, lookups, reporting) and working Google Sheets competence.
- Proven delivery against fixed daily cut-off timelines in a B2B or bulk-order environment.
- Clear English communication with logistics; ability to communicate with a multilingual floor team.
- Available for rotational shifts including nights and weekends, per UAE Labour Law working hours and overtime provisions.
- Diploma or degree in Logistics/Supply Chain, or equivalent experience.
