Job summary

Reliant HR Consultancy in United Arab Emirates is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for a dairy farm to oversee the farm maintenance team and coordinate electrical, mechanical and plumbing upkeep, ensuring safe, reliable operation.

You will supervise a maintenance crew, implement preventive maintenance schedules, troubleshoot faults, and maintain records, while complying with health, safety, and farm procedures.

Qualifications

• Formal technical education in mechanical, electrical, or related field.
• Experience in dairy farm or agricultural facilities is preferred.
• Supervising a maintenance team and coordinating repairs.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the farm maintenance team.
• Carry out and oversee electrical, mechanical and plumbing maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and repair farm equipment, machinery and utility systems.
• Conduct regular inspections of farm infrastructure, equipment and facilities.
• Implement and maintain a preventive maintenance schedule.
• Identify equipment faults and coordinate timely repairs to minimize downtime.
• Maintain electrical systems, motors, pumps, control panels and related equipment.
• Handle plumbing systems, water supply lines, drainage and related farm utilities.
• Ensure proper maintenance of machinery and equipment used in dairy farm operations.
• Monitor maintenance activities and ensure work is completed safely and efficiently.
• Maintain records of repairs, maintenance activities, spare parts and equipment breakdowns.
• Coordinate with management regarding major repairs, replacement of equipment and spare-parts requirements.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and maintenance procedures.
• Train and guide maintenance technicians/helpers as required.
• Respond quickly to emergency breakdowns and operational maintenance requirements.
