Responsibilities include system inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, preventive maintenance, calibration, spare parts management, and ensuring tight sanitation standards.

Qualifications

In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of the milking parlor facilities and associated equipment.

Your expertise will ensure the efficient operation of the dairy processes that contribute to the Palace’s high standards.

Responsibilities

• System Inspections and Maintenance: Perform regular inspections and maintenance on milking systems, pumps, cooling systems, and vacuum lines.
• Troubleshooting and Repairs: Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in milking equipment.
• Respond quickly to breakdowns and malfunctions during milking operations using diagnostic tools and techniques.
• System Upkeep: Ensure the milking parlor is maintained to high cleanliness and sanitation standards, following farm and regulatory guidelines.
• Calibrate and adjust milking equipment for optimal performance and milk quality.
• Preventive Maintenance: Develop and implement a preventive maintenance schedule for all milking parlor equipment.
• Keep detailed records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
• Spare Parts Management: Monitor and manage inventory of spare parts and consumables, ensuring availability for timely repairs.
• Coordinate with suppliers to procure necessary equipment and replacement parts.
• Compliance and Safety: Adhere to health and safety regulations when performing maintenance tasks.
• Train milking staff on proper equipment usage and maintenance to ensure safety and prevent damage.
• Collaboration and Support: Work closely with farm management to align maintenance tasks with production schedules.
• Provide technical support and advice to team members as needed.
• Provide technical advice and support to other team members.

Salary and Benefits

• Salry: AED 3,500, plus free accommodation, and all other benefits as per UAE laws

Requirements

• Proven experience in maintenance, preferably within a dairy or agricultural environment
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Knowledge of milking machinery, dairy operations, and sanitation standards
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a team
• Physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor
• Relevant certifications in agricultural machinery maintenance or dairy farming practices is a plus
