Job summary

Khidmah in Abu Dhabi seeks a Facilities Manager to steer the strategic direction of facilities and engineering services, coordinating outsourced providers to ensure a safe and robust environment for superior performance.

You will develop and implement best practice operating plans, manage budgets, inspect facilities, supervise service contracts, and ensure effective PPM, reporting, and continuous improvement across the estate.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in customer-services oriented FM and engineering management.
• Experience leading and managing business service teams, including performance management and staff development.
• Strong knowledge of HSE and environmental responsibilities; willingness to study for additional qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Develop, gain consensus and implement best practice building operation plans for assigned assets.
• Work with Property Manager to prepare budget documentation and administer works for budget compliance.
• Inspect facilities/equipment to determine service and equipment requirements.
• Arrange alterations, maintenance or reconditioning of facilities as specified in procedures or service agreements.
• Bid and prepare non-engineering service contracts with procurement to assure quality and cost-effectiveness.
• Assemble and analyze bids; prepare standard contract forms for execution by management.
• Approve purchases of supplies and equipment for use within the facility.
• Prepare inventory of premises contents and property condition for review by Property Manager.
• Ensure services are reviewed and refined to enhance facility services.
• Manage resources, manpower and finances; ensure a robust PPM regime.
• Analyze call center data and plan improvements.
