Position Overview

DP World Dubai is seeking a proactive Facilities and Accommodation Supervisor to support the Accommodations Director in managing daily facility operations, maintenance, landscaping, and service delivery. The role involves coordinating multiple functions, ensuring operational efficiency, safety compliance, and optimal use of resources across the organization’s accommodation and facility assets.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Accommodations Director in managing daily facility operations to ensure smooth functioning of all services.
• Supervise maintenance activities including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general building systems.
• Oversee security coordination, cleaning services, and landscaping operations to maintain safety and cleanliness standards.
• Conduct routine facility inspections to identify maintenance requirements, safety concerns, and improvement opportunities.
• Coordinate and manage infrastructure projects, renovations, landscaping improvements, and system installations.
• Supervise maintenance and facility staff, providing training and enforcing safety standards.
• Collaborate with security teams to ensure proper access control, emergency response procedures, and compliance with safety protocols.
• Monitor and manage facility budgets, ensuring all expenditures align with approved allocations and financial policies.
• Review vendor proposals, prepare RFPs, and manage contracts for facility and landscaping services.
• Ensure full compliance with local environmental, health, safety, and fire regulations.
• Utilize the CAFM (Computer-Aided Facility Management) system to manage assets, track work orders, monitor space utilization, and generate operational reports.
• Prepare regular reports covering maintenance activities, landscaping status, security coordination, budgeting, and incident management.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or related discipline.
• Proven experience in facility management, building maintenance, or accommodation operations (minimum 5 years preferred).
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and preventive maintenance practices.
• Experience managing vendors, contracts, and budgets.
• Familiarity with CAFM systems and digital asset management tools.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Understanding of safety regulations and compliance standards in the UAE.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail.
