Job summary

Tanqeeb is seeking a skilled Facade Engineer in Dubai to lead the design and execution of curtain wall, cladding, and glazing systems. The role requires coordinating with architects, consultants, and contractors to ensure correct facade implementation across projects.

Responsibilities include preparing drawings, conducting structural and thermal analyses, and overseeing site installation, inspections, and quality checks while ensuring safety and code compliance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in facade engineering.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural/Architectural Engineering or Diploma in Civil/Architecture.
• Strong knowledge of curtain wall, cladding, and glazing systems.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, and facade engineering software.
• Understanding of wind load calculations, structural analysis, and facade performance.
• Ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary project teams.
• Good problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop facade systems including curtain walls, aluminum cladding, glazing systems, and structural facades.
• Prepare and review shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and technical submittals.
• Perform structural and thermal analysis for facade components.
• Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, and project teams.
• Review architectural drawings and project specifications to ensure correct facade implementation.
• Supervise and support site installation and facade construction activities.
• Conduct site inspections and quality checks for facade works.
• Ensure compliance with project requirements, safety standards, and building codes.
• Assist in material selection and technical evaluation of facade components.
• Prepare technical reports, engineering calculations, and documentation.
