Job summary

Sunbrilotechnology in the UAE seeks an Air Handling Unit (AHU) Fabrication Supervisor to oversee production and assembly of industrial and commercial AHU systems. You will guide fabrication workflows, ensure adherence to drawings, and manage a small team on site.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in metal fabrication/HVAC with supervisory experience, strong welding knowledge, and proficiency with CAD tools. English required; energy efficiency and quality standards are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or technical degree.
• Experience: 3–5 years in metal fabrication and HVAC manufacturing, with 1–2 years supervisory.
• Language: English.
• Knowledge of AHU components and welding processes.

Responsibilities

• Production Oversight: supervise daily fabrication and assembly operations according to production schedules.
• Team Leadership: allocate work to operators, fitters, welders, and helpers based on skill and workload.
• Technical Compliance: read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and project specs to meet quality standards.

JOB DISCRIPTION

Air Handling Unit (AHU) Fabrication Supervisor manages the production of industrial and commercial air handling systems. this role increasingly involves overseeing manufacturing practices and high-precision assembly to meet modern energy efficiency standards.

Core Responsibilities

• Production Oversight: Supervise daily fabrication and assembly operations according to production schedules. This includes managing workflows for:
  • Cutting for aluminium and steel (CNC plasma and Laser)
  • Bending techniques
  • assembling
  • Welding
  • Electrical Work and Assembly
• Team Leadership: Allocate work to operators, fitters, welders, and helpers based on their skill levels and the current workload.
• Technical Compliance: Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and project specifications to ensure AHU components meet rigorous quality standards.
• Quality Control: Inspect finished units—including internal components like coils, fans, and filters—to ensure they meet customer requirements and industry standards (e.g., ASHRAE or ISO).

• Technical Proficiency:

  • Proficiency in welding (Mig, Tig, or Flux core) and structural fitting.
