M I R A L.L.C is seeking a skilled Duct Fabricator to join our MEP/construction team in the UAE. The role focuses on HVAC duct fabrication and installation, following approved drawings and specifications with strict attention to quality and safety.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience as a Duct Fabricator in HVAC/MEP or construction projects.
• Knowledge of GI duct fabrication and sheet-metal tools.
• Ability to read HVAC/MEP drawings and interpret layouts.
• Understanding of duct measurements, dimensions and fabrication techniques.
• Experience with duct fittings (elbows, reducers, transitions, offsets).
• Ability to work from shop and fabrication drawings.
• Experience coordinating fabrication with HVAC installation teams.
• Familiarity with site safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate HVAC ductwork according to drawings and specifications.
• Read and interpret HVAC/MEP drawings and layouts.
• Take precise measurements and calculate duct dimensions and materials.
• Cut, bend, form and assemble GI sheet metal for ductwork.
• Fabricate duct sections, fittings, bends, elbows, and transitions.
• Ensure accurate dimensions, alignment and finish of ductwork.
• Install and assemble ductwork at project sites when required.

Job description

We are looking for a skilled Duct Fabricator to join our MEP/construction team.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in HVAC duct fabrication and installation, with a strong understanding of ductwork materials, fabrication techniques, measurements, drawings and site requirements.

The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating and preparing ductwork according to approved drawings and specifications while maintaining quality, accuracy and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Fabricate HVAC ductwork according to approved drawings, dimensions and specifications
• Read and interpret HVAC/MEP drawings and duct layouts
• Take accurate measurements and calculate required duct dimensions and materials
• Cut, bend, form and assemble GI sheet metal for ductwork
• Fabricate different types of duct sections, fittings, bends, elbows, transitions and other components
• Ensure proper dimensions, alignment and finishing of fabricated ductwork
• Install and assemble ductwork at project sites when required
• Coordinate with HVAC technicians, installers, supervisors and site engineers
• Ensure duct fabrication is completed according to project specifications and required quality standards
• Inspect fabricated ductwork for dimensional accuracy and defects
• Minimize material wastage through accurate measurement and cutting
• Maintain proper use and care of fabrication tools and equipment
• Follow site safety procedures and use appropriate PPE
• Maintain a clean and organized fabrication/work area
• Report material requirements, fabrication issues and technical discrepancies to the supervisor

Requirements

• Hands-on experience as a Duct Fabricator in HVAC/MEP or construction projects
• Good practical knowledge of GI duct fabrication
• Ability to read and understand HVAC/MEP drawings
• Knowledge of duct measurements, dimensions and fabrication techniques
• Experience fabricating duct fittings including elbows, reducers, transitions and offsets
• Ability to use common sheet-metal and duct fabrication tools
• Experience with HVAC duct fabrication for commercial, residential or large-scale construction projects
• Familiarity with different duct materials, insulation requirements and duct accessories
• Ability to work from shop drawings and fabrication drawings
• Experience coordinating fabrication with HVAC installation teams
• Good understanding of ductwork installation and site coordination
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a site/fabrication team
• Knowledge of construction site safety requirements
• Previous UAE/GCC experience will be an advantage
