Job summary

Client of WhiteCrow Research is seeking an experienced Inventory and Procurement Specialist to manage procurement systems, verify PO and GRN processes, and ensure timely invoicing and accruals in a fast-paced hospitality environment in Dubai.

Responsibilities cover receiving, storage compliance with HACCP and Dubai Food Code, strict FIFO/FEFO, accurate stock records, and close collaboration with F&B, Park Operations, and HSE teams to minimize wastage and support high-volume operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Leisure Management, or a related field, with 2-5 years of experience in F&B storekeeping or inventory management; high-volume operations experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Oracle, SAP, FMC, or equivalent inventory/procurement systems, with strong Excel skills and experience in GRN processing, invoice matching, accruals, and inventory reconciliation.
• Strong knowledge of HACCP, food safety standards, FIFO/FEFO practices, audit compliance, and accurate inventory documentation.
• Ability to maintain inventory accuracy, ensure timely system transactions, reduce wastage/spoilage/expired stock, and optimize stock issuance and availability.
• Strong attention to detail, accountability, teamwork, time management, problem-solving, integrity, and effective communication with F&B, Park Operations, HSE teams, suppliers, vendors, and regulatory bodies.

Responsibilities

• Operate procurement and inventory systems for PO verification, GRN, invoice matching and accrual entries.
• Verify incoming goods against PO specifications, inspect for damages, temperature, expiry dates.
• Maintain storage areas compliant with Dubai Municipality Food Code and HACCP.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct stock counts; investigate variances.
• Issue stock to outlets and coordinate with kitchen service for stock requirements.
• Prepare inventory reports and assist month-end closing; stock valuation and GRN reconciliation.
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards and report risks or unsafe practices.
• Handle physical movement of goods including lifting up to 20–25 kg; operate in chillers/freezers.
