Job summary

PALAZZO VERSACE DUBAI is seeking a professional Hostess to create an exceptional arrival experience in a luxury setting. You will welcome guests, manage reservations and seating, and ensure VIP preferences are communicated to the team.

In this role, you will maintain menu knowledge, handle guest requests, and coordinate with F&B and other departments to ensure a seamless experience while upholding the hotel's luxury standards and impeccable grooming at all times.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as Hostess or in guest relations in a luxury setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a confident and welcoming personality.
• Strong knowledge of reservations, seating procedures, and guest relations.
• Passion for delivering personalized service and creating memorable guest experiences.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Good command of English; additional languages are advantageous.

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

• Welcome, acknowledge, and professionally engage with guests, creating a warm and personalized arrival experience.

• Manage reservations, walk-ins, waiting lists, table allocations, and seating arrangements efficiently.

• Escort guests to their tables and ensure all guest preferences, VIP details, and special occasions are communicated to the team.

• Maintain strong knowledge of menus, promotions, outlet concepts, operating hours, and hotel facilities to confidently assist guests.

• Proactively anticipate guest needs, handle requests and feedback, and ensure appropriate follow-up.

• Coordinate closely with F&B and other hotel departments to ensure a seamless and consistent guest experience.

• Support the Restaurant Manager with daily operations and guest flow.

• Maintain impeccable grooming, presentation, cleanliness, and compliance with luxury hotel service standards at all times.

Candidate Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Hostess, Senior Hostess, Guest Relations, Guest Ambassador, or similar role within a 5-star hotel or luxury restaurant.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a confident and welcoming personality.

• Strong knowledge of restaurant reservations, seating procedures, and guest relations.

• Passion for delivering personalized service and creating memorable guest experiences.

• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.

• Strong problem-solving and complaint-handling skills with a professional and composed approach.

• Good command of English; additional languages are an advantage.

• Flexible and able to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays in a fast-paced luxury hospitality environment.
