Job summary

Dubai Holding Entertainment is seeking a customer-focused F&B assistant to take orders, provide product information and deliver high standards of service at our outlets in the UAE. You will upsell items, ensure hygiene and safety, and handle cash using POS systems in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a High School Certificate, basic food hygiene certification, and at least one year of relevant experience. Fluency in English and a positive, flexible attitude are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Hold a High School Certificate.
• Possess a Basic Food Hygiene Certification.
• Have at least one year of experience in a similar role.
• Demonstrate cash-handling experience using Point of Sale systems.
• Communicate fluently in spoken English and provide excellent customer service.
• Possess basic computer skills and the physical fitness to work flexible hours outdoors in hot climates.
• Able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Take food and beverage orders in accordance with established Standard Operating Procedures.
• Provide guests with accurate product information, respond to enquiries and deliver high standards of customer service.
• Upsell and suggest suitable food and beverage products to guests.
• Operate outlet equipment safely while maintaining food quality, hygiene and health and safety standards.
• Store, handle and sell food and beverage items in compliance with statutory requirements and Dubai Municipality guidelines.
• Maintain accurate cash handling and follow company Point of Sale and cash-control procedures.
• Assist with special functions, themed evenings, roaming sales and other outlet activities as required.
• Follow company policies, grooming standards, food hygiene procedures and safe working practices at all times.
