Job summary

ConFlip is seeking an experienced Chef to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking, creativity, and strong interpersonal skills.

The role requires at least five years in a professional kitchen, knowledge of hygiene and food safety, and the ability to work both in a team and independently. Fluency in English and willingness to relocate to Abu Dhabi are essential.

A salary of 1700 is offered for the right candidate along with health insurance and annual leave.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of experience as a Chef in a professional kitchen
• Knowledge of hygiene regulations and food safety standards
• Fluent in English (verbal and written)
• Willingness to relocate to Abu Dhabi
• Must have valid documentation to work in the UAE (if foreigner)

Responsibilities

• Prepare dishes according to restaurant protocols and recipes
• Ensure all ingredients are fresh and stored properly
• Monitor food stock levels and inform management when supplies need replenishing
• Develop new menu items or modify existing ones according to customer feedback
• Monitor portion sizes for cost control purposes
• Supervise junior kitchen staff when required
