Job summary

JobLeader in Abu-Dhabi is seeking a talented Chef to join our kitchen team. You will prepare meals according to the menu, ensure food is cooked safely, and help with menu planning and costing under the guidance of the head chef.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of professional kitchen experience, solid culinary skills across international cuisines, and strong communication and organizational abilities.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in a professional kitchen.
• Experience in Middle Eastern cuisine desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals according to the menu and head chef specifications.
• Ensure all dishes meet health and safety regulations and proper food handling.
• Create new recipes and dishes while considering customer preferences and dietary needs.
• Monitor stock levels and order supplies to keep ingredients fresh and cost-effective.
• Assist with menu planning and food costing calculations.
• Assist in training junior kitchen staff.
