Job summary

Career Raiser is seeking a Director of Finance to oversee timely IFRS-compliant reporting for the Group, including consolidation, statutory returns and external audits. You will drive budgeting, forecasting, and strategic finance initiatives across the organization.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in investment banking, IFRS/UK GAAP proficiency, and Big 4 experience, with strong capital markets knowledge and stakeholder collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant (ICAEW or ACCA) with at least 10 years experience in investment banking.
• In-depth knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP.
• Strong capital markets and investment banking product understanding.
• Experience in Big 4 accounting firms preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the production and reporting of the Group's interim and annual results and disclosures to external stakeholders.
• Ensure regulatory reporting requirements are met by the group.
• Develop and update financial policies, MIS reports, and supporting systems for senior management decisions.
• Respond to regulatory reporting queries raised by the group’s function.
• Assist the Executive Director in budgeting, forecasting, cost control and strategic finance matters.
• Ensure timely submission of returns to regulators, tax authorities, and exchanges where applicable.
• Prepare the Group's Annual Report and manage external service providers for consolidated financial statements.
• Collaborate with senior executives, board members and shareholders to deliver accurate financial information.
