Job summary

Career Raiser is seeking a qualified Financial Controller in Dubai to lead accounting, budgeting, forecasting, IFRS implementation, and MIS reporting. The role requires hands-on ERP experience and advanced Excel, with a focus on improving financial controls and profitability.

You will oversee consolidation of group accounts, working capital management, and liaise with auditors, bankers and tax authorities. ACCA/CIMA/ACA is required; regional experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with ACCA/CIMA/ACA credential.
• Experience in IFRS, budgeting, forecasting.
• ERP experience and advanced Excel skills.
• Strong reporting to senior management.
• Ability to lead and supervise staff.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and interpret monthly management accounts and annual reports.
• Implement financial plans.
• Assess and manage risks.
• Reconcile balance sheets.
• Analyse margins.
• Manage budgets.
• Handle debtors.
• Monitor cash flow statements and predict trends.
• Conduct cost-reduction reviews.
• Develop external relationships with solicitors, bankers, Inland Revenue.
• Liaise with auditors for annual monitoring.
• Arrange new finance sources and debt facilities.
• Ensure payroll and VAT/tax requirements are met.
• Keep up with regulation and industry developments.
