Job summary

Career Land Center, LLC is seeking an experienced Executive Sous Chef to lead kitchen operations for an F&B company in Kuwait. You will support the Executive Chef, drive menu execution, maintain high food quality, and supervise culinary teams across multiple outlets.

Ideal candidates bring senior kitchen leadership, strong cost control and HACCP knowledge, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced hospitality environment. Relocation to Kuwait is required or encouraged where applicable.

Qualifications

• Senior culinary leadership experience in executive/senior sous roles.
• Experience in restaurants, hospitality groups, hotels or high-volume F&B.
• Strong knowledge of kitchen operations and culinary standards.
• Ability to lead, train and develop kitchen teams.
• Understand food cost control, inventory, portion control and waste.
• Solid food safety, hygiene and kitchen compliance knowledge.
• Able to work in fast-paced hospitality with composure.
• Creative, organized, detail-oriented and quality-focused.
• Professional attitude with strong communication and problem-solving.
• International hospitality or multi-outlet exposure is an advantage.
• Willing to relocate to Kuwait.

Responsibilities

• Support Executive Chef in daily kitchen operations across outlets.
• Supervise and motivate culinary team to maintain high quality.
• Ensure dishes prepared, cooked, and presented per standards.
• Oversee mise en place, production planning, service readiness.
• Monitor workflow during peak hours for smooth operations.
• Assist with menu development and seasonal specials.
• Maintain hygiene, food safety, HACCP standards consistently.
• Monitor food cost, portion control, and wastage.
• Assist with ordering, receiving, storage and handling.
• Train, coach and develop chefs and kitchen staff.
• Lead kitchen in Executive Chef's absence; coordinate with teams.
• Support operational improvements across food production areas.
