Job summary

Career Land Center, LLC is seeking an experienced Executive Pastry Chef to lead pastry and bakery operations for an F&B company in Kuwait. You will develop dessert menus, manage production, and ensure pastry quality across outlets with strong cost control and HACCP adherence.

The role requires leadership, team development, and the ability to coordinate across culinary, service, and purchasing teams in a fast-paced hospitality setting. Willingness to relocate to Kuwait is essential.

Qualifications

• Previous executive pastry leadership experience.
• Experience in high-volume F&B, hotels or luxury brands.
• Strong knowledge of pastry, desserts, breads and chocolates.
• Willing to relocate to Kuwait.
• Excellent leadership and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage daily pastry and bakery operations across outlets.
• Create, develop, and enhance dessert menus, cakes, pastries, breads, chocolates, and seasonal specials.
• Ensure all pastry items are prepared and presented according to standards.
• Maintain consistency in taste, quality, portioning, decoration, and presentation.
• Supervise, train, and motivate the pastry team to high performance.
• Oversee production planning, mise en place, storage, stock rotation, and service readiness.
• Support bulk production for events, catering, displays, high-volume operations.
• Monitor food cost, inventory, wastage, and portion control.
• Ensure strict hygiene, food safety, HACCP standards at all times.
• Introduce creative pastry concepts while maintaining efficient operations.
• Coordinate with culinary, service, purchasing, stewarding, and management teams.
• Maintain proper use, cleanliness, and maintenance of pastry equipment.
