Job summary

Abroad Work is hiring an Executive Chef in Umm-al-Qaiwain, UAE. The candidate will oversee daily kitchen operations, lead menu creation, manage food costs, train staff, and uphold health and safety regulations. The role requires a culinary arts degree and at least two years in a similar position.

In return, a salary of 1,600 AED per month is offered, plus temporary accommodation and a meal allowance, with opportunities for growth in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level or equivalent degree in culinary arts or related field.
• Experience of at least 2 years in a Executive Chef role or similar.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily kitchen operations to ensure high-quality dishes.
• Lead menu creation and ongoing menu design.
• Control food costs and monitor budget adherence.
• Train and develop kitchen staff; ensure health and safety standards.
• Track stock levels and coordinate with Purchasing & Suppliers.
