Job summary

Avanta Works in Ajman is seeking an experienced Head Chef to lead our kitchen, developing and executing a fusion menu blending Malayalee and Egyptian flavors while upholding our high standards.

You will train and manage the kitchen team, plan menus, control inventory, supervise purchasing, ensure food safety, and collaborate with management on marketing. Salary is $1,200 per month, accommodation not provided.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Executive Chef or Head Chef.
• Knowledge of Malayalee and Egyptian cuisine and fusion cooking.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication with management, staff and suppliers.
• Ability to manage inventory, ordering and scheduling.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Plan and direct food preparation with high quality and consistency.
• Create new dishes reflecting fusion concept.
• Train and manage kitchen staff, including scheduling shifts.
• Order supplies and monitor inventory to control costs.
• Ensure food safety and maintain a clean kitchen.
