Job summary

Tech Sales Jobs is seeking a seasoned Business Development Manager – Events to drive opportunities across the UAE. The role focuses on building strategic client relationships and securing event projects with government entities in Abu Dhabi and Dubai.

The candidate should have 5+ years in events-related BD/Sales, with proven government project experience and a strong UAE network. On-site work in Abu Dhabi is required, with opportunities to engage across the UAE.

Qualifications

5+ years of relevant experience in Business Development / Sales within the Events industry.
Mandatory experience securing or developing business related to UAE government events or government entities.
Proven business development experience in Abu Dhabi and/or Dubai.
Strong network within UAE events, government, corporate or institutional sectors preferred.

Responsibilities

Identify and develop new business opportunities within the UAE events market.
Build and maintain relationships with potential and existing clients.
Identify opportunities with government, semi-government, corporate, and institutional organizations.
Develop and manage a pipeline of event-related opportunities.
Generate leads through networking, market research, referrals, and direct outreach.
Lead client meetings, presentations, and business discussions.
Coordinate with internal teams to develop event proposals and solutions.
Prepare and present commercial proposals and pitches.
Negotiate terms and support closing stage.
Maintain strong relationships with decision-makers and stakeholders.
Work with operations, production, and management teams for handover.
Develop long-term strategic partnerships and account growth.
