Job summary

Hyatt Hotels Corporation in Dubai is seeking an MIT - Event Planning intern to join our Event Planning Team. You will gain hands-on experience in event planning and hotel operations, coordinating between clients and departments to ensure event requirements are delivered effectively.

Qualifications

• Previous internship or work in hospitality or events.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong attention to detail with proactive approach.
• Ability to collaborate with multiple departments.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist in coordinating event requirements between clients and operational departments (F&B, Culinary, Front Office, Housekeeping).
• Support the Event Planning team in communicating event details to internal stakeholders.
• Follow up with operational departments to ensure event arrangements are progressing as planned.
• Assist with the preparation of event documentation and administrative tasks.
• Support event execution by helping monitor timelines, setup requirements, and last-minute requests.
• Coordinate with external suppliers and service providers under the guidance of the Event Planning team.
• Attend events when required and assist in ensuring a smooth guest experience.
• Learn to understand client needs and contribute ideas for event enhancements and guest satisfaction.
