Job summary

Al-Futtaim Automotive’s Electric Mobility division seeks an EV Service Technician to diagnose, maintain, and repair BYD electric vehicles in the UAE. You will work on diagnostics, repairs, and high‑voltage safety compliance, while upholding quality and customer service standards.

Responsibilities include following manufacturer guidelines, delivering first‑time fixes, and maintaining up‑to‑date EV technology knowledge within a collaborative team setting.

Qualifications

• Diploma/ITI or equivalent technical qualification is required or advantageous.
• 2–3 years of experience in automotive, diagnostic, service, general repair or EV technician roles.
• Hands‑on experience with vehicle diagnostics, maintenance, and repair.
• Experience working on electric or hybrid vehicles is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repair work on BYD electric vehicles.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot EV systems, including high‑voltage components and battery systems.
• Carry out repairs following manufacturer guidelines and EV safety standards.
• Complete repairs the first time, minimizing vehicle downtime.
• Perform vehicle inspections and support EV-check reporting.
