Job summary

Tanseeq Investment Group is seeking an experienced Estimator for infrastructure and landscape projects in Dubai. You will prepare cost estimates, review drawings, and perform quantity take-offs across earthworks, roads, utilities, drainage, and irrigation to ensure competitive tender pricing.

The ideal candidate has 8–10 years of estimating experience, a relevant degree, and strong analytical/commercial skills. Proficiency in CCS Candy, AutoCAD, CostX and Excel is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.
• 8–10 years of estimating experience, preferably infra and landscape.
• Strong understanding of civil and landscape construction methods, materials, specs, and pricing.
• Experience estimating major works: roads, utilities, drainage, earthworks, structures, hardscape, softscape, irrigation.
• Able to interpret civil and landscape drawings, specs and BOQs.
• Strong analytical and commercial skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates, BOQs, rate build-ups, and tender submissions based on project requirements.
• Review drawings, specifications, and contract documents to establish project scope and pricing.
• Carry out quantity take-offs for civil, infrastructure, and landscape works.
• Prepare estimates covering earthworks, roads, utilities, drainage, structures, paving, hardscape, softscape, and irrigation.
• Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations and prepare commercial comparisons.
• Research and maintain current material, labour, equipment, and subcontractor rates.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, commercial, and project teams throughout the tendering process.
• Identify pricing risks, exclusions, scope gaps, and potential cost-saving opportunities.
• Provide support during post-tender clarifications and commercial negotiations.

• Strong analytical and commercial skills with attention to detail.

Software Skills

• CCS Candy Estimation Software – Mandatory.
• AutoCAD for drawing review and quantity verification.
• Experience with CostX, PlanSwift, or similar estimation/take-off software is an advantage.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for pricing, rate analysis, and tender calculations.
• Knowledge of Primavera P6 / MS Project is an advantage.
