Job summary

Fisher Human Resource Consultancy in Dubai invites a fresh Mechanical Engineering graduate to join as Estimation & Proposal Engineer – Mechanical. You will analyze tender documents and assist in preparing technical and financial proposals for UAE Oil & Gas, EPC or industrial projects.

Work with senior engineers on MTOs, cost calculations, and bid documentation, using Excel and basic AutoCAD. Strong numerical skills and attention to detail are essential, with English and Arabic fluency preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering required for fresh graduates.
• Arab National with native Arabic and business-level English fluency.
• Currently residing in UAE with a valid, transferable visa.
• Proficient in MS Excel for costing models and basic AutoCAD operations.
• Strong numerical aptitude, structural thinking and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Estimation & Proposal Engineer

We are seeking a motivated and ambitious Fresh Graduate to join our team as an Estimation & Proposal Engineer – Mechanical. This entry-level role is designed for a young professional eager to develop a career in the technical-commercial sector of the Oil & Gas, EPC, or industrial engineering domain within the UAE. The candidate will work closely with senior engineers to analyze tender documents, perform material take-offs, and assist in compiling accurate technical and financial proposals.

• Assist in reviewing client tender packages, engineering drawings, and technical specifications to understand project scopes.
• Perform accurate Material Take-Offs (MTO) from mechanical drawings using AutoCAD and Excel.
• Coordinate with sub-vendors to float inquiries, collect quotes, and prepare baseline technical price comparisons.
• Support senior estimation engineers in calculating direct costs for labor, equipment, and mechanical materials.
• Help compile technical literature, compliance statements, and commercial bid documents for final submission.
