Dr Scent is seeking an ERP Technical Business Analyst in Sharjah to bridge internal teams, agents and developers. The role requires strong SQL, PHP and JavaScript skills, plus the ability to translate business requirements into technical specs and to train users.

Responsibilities include analyzing issues, defining workflows, configuring ERP settings and collaborating with development teams to deliver enhancements and documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in technical support, business analysis, ERP/CRM or software implementation.

Role Overview

We are looking for an ERP Technical Business Analyst to join our team and act as the key bridge between our internal team, agents, and the development team. This is a technical and analytical role, not a traditional customer support position. We are looking for someone who can independently investigate issues, identify root causes, understand business requirements, and translate them into clear, implementation‑ready technical specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Investigate and analyze reported system issues and operational problems.
• Communicate with teams and agents to understand business requirements.
• Translate business requirements into clear functional and technical specifications.
• Define required screens, workflows, validation rules, reports, and system enhancements.
• Work closely with developers to ensure requirements are complete and ready for implementation.
• Perform advanced SQL investigations and approved database updates when required.
• Configure ERP settings, users, roles, permissions, and system parameters.
• Configure third‑party services such as Meta (WhatsApp Cloud API) and similar platforms.
• Troubleshoot issues and implement minor PHP and JavaScript code changes when required.
• Reproduce issues, identify root causes, document findings, and support testing before deployment.
• Create ERP documentation, user guides, SOPs, and knowledge base articles.
• Record instructional videos explaining ERP features, workflows, and processes.
• Conduct online and in‑person training sessions for users, agents, and new team members.
• Prepare training materials and support successful adoption of new ERP features and processes.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in technical support, business analysis, ERP, CRM, or software implementation.
• Strong SQL knowledge with the ability to investigate complex database issues and safely perform database updates.
• Good understanding of PHP and JavaScript for troubleshooting and minor code changes.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to convert business requirements into clear, actionable technical specifications.
• Experience preparing functional specifications, implementation requirements, and technical documentation.
• Strong documentation and presentation skills.
• Ability to create instructional videos and learning materials.
• Ability to deliver effective training to both technical and non‑technical users.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple responsibilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Salesforce, Zoho, or similar CRM/ERP platforms.
• Experience working directly with software development teams.
• Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Experience in software testing and quality assurance.
