Job summary

Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank is seeking a senior equities trader to lead the Delta Trading desk with full accountability for strategy, execution, risk management, and performance across regional and global markets.

You will leverage expertise in delta one products such as cash equities, equity index futures, and ETFs, drive risk-adjusted returns, maintain P&L discipline, ensure compliance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to advance ADCB’s trading capabilities and market access.

Qualifications

• Min 9 years in equities trading with delta one strategies across cash equities, index futures, and ETFs.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, or related field.
• CFA, FRM or equivalent preferred.
• Deep knowledge of Equity Markets, Delta One Products and Trading Strategies.
• Proven leadership and team management.
• Strong command of risk, compliance and governance frameworks.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and execution platform experience.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the strategic direction of ADCB’s Equities Delta Trading desk, aligning with the bank’s trading objectives and market expansion goals.
• Lead and optimise execution of delta one trades across cash equities, equity index futures, and ETFs, ensuring best execution and market-structure adherence.
• Monitor and manage trading exposures within approved limits; escalate when needed.
• Research and analyze macroeconomic trends, sector dynamics, and liquidity flows to identify trading opportunities and inform strategy.
• Evaluate and monitor competitor offerings to ensure the bank stays updated on market developments and best practices.
• Maintain full adherence to internal policies, regulatory requirements, and governance standards across all trading activities.
• Lead and ensure quality checks are practiced end-to-end for new product/service releases to support Treasury Business Units.
• Collaborate with Sales, Structuring, Risk, Compliance, and Technology to enhance execution quality and operational efficiency.
