Detailed Job Description

As an Enterprise Architect in Abu Dhabi, UAE (Onsite), you will serve as the principal technical authority responsible for shaping the organization’s enterprise technology roadmap and architectural standards. Your daily responsibilities will encompass designing scalable microservices, API-led and event-driven systems, managing complex data architectures (Data Lakehouse, Data Mesh, NoSQL), and establishing robust security architecture including OAuth2/OIDC, JWT, and Zero Trust. You will spearhead AI/GenAI architecture frameworks, integrate Large Language Models (LLMs), RAG pipelines, and vector databases, and provide technical leadership across multi-cloud environments (AWS/Azure) and Kubernetes.

Key Responsibilities

• Define, design, and govern enterprise-wide and end-to-end solution architectures across diverse business domains.


• Architect scalable, resilient microservices, API-led connectivity frameworks, and event-driven architectures.


• Design advanced data architectures including Data Lakes, Lakehouses, Data Warehouses, Data Mesh, and NoSQL storage systems.


• Implement comprehensive integration architectures utilizing REST APIs, API gateways, messaging queues, and event streaming.


• Establish robust security architecture standards including OAuth2/OIDC, JWT, Zero Trust security models, and API security.


• Manage cloud and container infrastructure platforms across AWS and Azure, Kubernetes clusters, HA, DR, and DevSecOps pipelines.


• Lead innovative AI/GenAI architecture initiatives incorporating LLMs, RAG, AI agents, embeddings, vector databases, and safety guardrails.


• Provide executive technical leadership, architecture governance, capacity scaling, and technology evaluation.


• Support advanced AI fine-tuning initiatives including SFT, PEFT, LoRa, and QLoRa as a strategic differentiator.


• Collaborate proactively with C-level executives, product owners, engineering teams, and business stakeholders.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.


• Minimum of 12+ years of professional experience in enterprise architecture, solution architecture, or senior technology leadership.


• Deep technical expertise in enterprise and end-to-end solution architecture, microservices, and event-driven design.


• Proven proficiency in data architecture (Data Lakehouse, Data Mesh, NoSQL) and integration architecture (REST, API Gateways, Kafka).


• Strong security architecture background with hands-on knowledge of OAuth2/OIDC, JWT, Zero Trust, and API security.


• Extensive experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), Kubernetes, containerization, high availability, and DevSecOps.


• Proven experience designing AI/GenAI architectures, LLMs, RAG pipelines, AI agents, and vector databases.


• Outstanding technical leadership, architecture governance, and cross-functional communication capabilities.


• Mandatory residency/work authorization: Ability to operate on-site in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Practical experience with AI model fine-tuning techniques including SFT, PEFT, LoRA, and QLoRA.


• Professional enterprise architecture certifications such as TOGAF, AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional, or Azure Solutions Architect Expert.


• Prior experience leading digital transformation programs in large financial or government enterprises.


• Immediate availability for on-site mobilization in Abu Dhabi.
