Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking an AI Solution Architect to drive AI-led growth across mega accounts within Financial Services and Retail. You will translate complex business challenges into AI-enabled outcomes and shape value propositions for executive clients.

You will lead presales, craft solution narratives, and coordinate RFP/RFI responses while ensuring responsible AI principles across the engagement, reporting to senior stakeholders and collaborating in a matrixed organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in a relevant field.
• 8-12 years of professional experience in consulting, professional services, or industry roles with client-facing responsibility and leadership exposure.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience leading or co-leading AI, data, or digital transformation initiatives.
• At least 2 years hands-on experience with Generative AI solutions such as LLMs, AI agents, or GenAI-enabled apps.
• 5+ years’ experience in one or more industry verticals (Banking, Insurance, Manufacturing, Automotive, Healthcare, Public Sector).
• At least 2 years supporting or leading presales activities including opportunity identification, solution shaping, proposal development, and executive deal reviews.

Responsibilities

• Define, own, and execute the AI go-to-market strategy for assigned mega accounts or regional portfolios within Financial Services and Retail.
• Build and maintain relationships with C-suite and senior executive stakeholders.
• Identify, qualify, and shape AI transformation opportunities aligned to client priorities and industry trends.
• Develop compelling AI value propositions, business cases, and solution narratives addressing industry challenges.
• Partner with Client Partners, Sales, and Industry Leaders to originate, position, and close AI-driven engagements.
• Lead RFP, RFI, RFQ responses including solution strategy, win themes, proposal development, and executive presentations.
• Lead executive-level presales activities including opportunity shaping, solution design, and proposal positioning.
• Drive AI pipeline growth, revenue performance, and commercial success across assigned accounts.
• Contribute to account growth planning and AI sales strategy by identifying new opportunities and differentiating AI solutions.
• Ensure responsible AI principles (security, governance, transparency, human oversight) are embedded in framing and design.
• Operate within a matrixed organization, collaborating across business, delivery, and leadership teams.
