Job summary

Holiday Inn Abu Dhabi is seeking an Engineering Supervisor to lead daily maintenance activities, ensure safety and guest comfort, and uphold IHG brand standards. Qualifications

• Technical diploma, vocational qualification, or relevant training in Electrical, Mechanical, HVAC, Plumbing, or related field.
• 2–4 years' experience in hotel engineering or similar environment, with supervisory experience preferred.
• Good knowledge of hotel maintenance including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, mechanical systems, and building services.
• Relevant technical certification or license as required by local authorities.
• Good communication skills in English with guests, management, and contractors.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily engineering and maintenance activities.
• Assign and follow up on maintenance requests for timely resolution.
• Respond to guest and operational requests to support comfort.
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas and outlets.
• Coach and guide Engineering colleagues through training and communication.
• Monitor preventive maintenance and ensure safety and efficiency.
• Maintain records and report safety hazards or defects promptly.
